Obituary
Maria, beloved wife of Antonio of 55 years, mother of Nelia(Joao), Maria(Sean), and Sandy (Anthony) passed away peacefully at home where she wanted to be, surrounded by loved ones. Maria loved all of her 10 grandchildren and great grandson. Maria loved dancing at weddings, singing and traveling to her home town in Ribeira Quente , Sao Miguel. She loved sitting on her balcony, watching the ocean and greeting everyone as they walked by. It was her happy place. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. We would like to thank Dr Thompson, the PSW's from ParaMed Homecare and the palliative care team for Maria's loving care that she received. Unfortunately due to covid we are unable to have a public funeral ceremony but want to thank everyone for the love and support. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St.Joseph's Health Centre @supportstjoes.ca or to ParaMed Homecare.
Due to the current Covid - 19 restrictions in Toronto that allow a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.
