Obituary

Domagalski, Maria (nee Sozanski) was born on April 9 1919, in the village of Zvir in western Ukraine.  Maria passed peacefully at home.  Pre-deceased by her husband Kazymyr, sisters Stefka and Kateryna and brother Wasyl.  She leaves behind her daughters Irene and Luba (Andy).  She will be greatly missed by her grandsons Taras (Natalie) and Markian (Tamara) and great-grandchildren Lilienne, Adrianna, Lysette, Lorenc, Evan, and Luc. She will be missed also by extended family in Ukraine.

Her family, her religion and her community were important to Maria. She was hardworking, kind, generous and selfless. Always willing to lend a helping hand in making pasky, varenyky, cabbage rolls and staying for kitchen cleanup for the churches of the Holy Protection (Toronto) and Sts. Volodymyr and Olha (Cawaja) and for the League of Ukrainian Canadian Women (Toronto).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canada Ukraine Surgical Aid program under the Canada-Ukraine Foundation or a donation to any charity of choice.

Vichnaya Pam’yat. May she rest in Peace.
