She is survived by her beloved husband, Manuel Ferreira, and her four children: Sylvia and Roger Zapata, Diana Cobos, Daniel Cobos, and Felix and Leticia Cobos. Maria’s family was her greatest joy, and her influence continues through her thirteen grandchildren and twenty‑one great‑grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit forward.
Maria had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought light, and her generosity left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
