On Thursday September 15, 2005, God called Maria to her eternal rest. Beloved wife of the late Jose. Loving mother of Tony (Fatima), Jose, Roy (Peggy), Grace (John) and Manny (Marion).
Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Danila), Brian. Gabrielle, Joshua
(Valerie), Adrian, Madison, Michael Daniel and great grandmother of Alexander and Sarah. Dear sister of Manuel, Delores, Jose and the late Carlos Gomes. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cardinal funeral Home, 366 Bathurst street (near Dundas) on Saturday 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral on Monday at 9 a.m. and then to St. Anthony?s Church for 9:30 a.m. mass. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Prayers on Saturday at 7 p.m .In celebration of Maria?s life, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by her family. Maria?s family and friends will always remember her strength, selfishness, patience and caring. "
