Obituary
It is with tremendous grief that we announce the passing of our most loving mother and cherished grandmother (Querida Avo) Maria dos Anjos Sousa. Born on January 23, 1932 in Sao Miguel, Acores. She is now with the love of her life, her devoted husband Laudalino Tavares de Sousa. Greatly missed by her three children and their spouses: Laudalina (Lina) and Rick Price, Bernadette and Frank Frois, John Sousa and Suzanne Albuquerque. Adored by her six grandchildren: Lindsay, Caitlyn, Bryan, Derick, Matthew and Analiese. She was a 27 year retiree of St. Michael's Hospital; a place she then called home. Many thanks to the staff of St. Michael's Hospital and Dr. Haq for their compassion and dedication. She loved life, and gave it her best in all that she did. Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home (366 Bathurst St./North of Dundas) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 & 5-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Mary's Church (Bathurst/Adelaide) on Thursday at 10 am. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, St. Anthony Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation in memory of Maria Sousa."Visitation
