O'Brien; Mary Grace (nee Podger)



     It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Grace on February 13, 2005 in her 90th year. Grace is now in Heaven with her loving husband Bernard. Grace, Dearest Mother of Paul and his wife Janet (pre-deceased), Mary and her husband Murray Skitt and Bernard and his wife Margaret. Devoted grandmother of Johanna and Andrew Skitt, Andrew, Robert, Melanie and her husband Mark, Andrea and Gregory. Cherished great grandmother of Keara and Erika. Admired sister of Rita Rothwell and her husband Sid (pre-deceased), Catherine (pre-deceased), Charles (pre-deceased) and his wife Mary and Robert (pre-deceased) and his wife Cecile Podger. Grace will always be remembered for her zest of life, genuine kindness and joyous spirit. She will never be forgotten by her many family and friends. Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home, Earle Elliott Chapel, 715 Dovercourt Road (Ossington Subway, Delaware Exit) on Tuesday From 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peters Roman Catholic Church (Bathurst St., north of Bloor St.). Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery to follow. In loving memory of Grace, donations to Covenant House would be appreciated by the family.
