Obituary

After a great life’s journey, Merenciana David Reyes (our “Nanay”) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at the age of 94.

Nanay is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 65 years, Ernesto Blanco Reyes (our “Tatay”).

Nanay will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Beng (Marcelo), Blanca (Jesse), Claro (Cristina), Dahlia (Robert) and Emmanuel (Leonila).

Nanay will be fondly remembered by her ten grandchildren, Marianne (Jonathan), Melanie, Jason (Kelsey), Marc, Joanna (Juvenal), Amanda (Stephen), Megan (Matt), Zach, Katrina (Ramon) and Daniel, and by her nine great grandchildren Tyler, Aaron, Jessica, Julia, Joshua, Mason, Holden, Rowan and Noa.

Merenciana was predeceased by her parents Felipe and Paulina, and seven brothers Fermin, Ascension, Tolentino, Francisco, Acadio, Domingo and Eladio, and by her sister, Purita.

“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure, forever in our hearts is where you’ll stay”.
