Obituary
It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother and Baba. Osypa (Josephine) Solowy died peacefully at home on January 5, 2010 at the age of 87. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Stefan (Steven) Solowy. Cherished Mother of Lida (John) Samborsky, Maria (Roman) Hrycyna, and Andrew. She will be eternally missed by her grandchildren Steven, Larissa, Krista, Katherine, Mark, and Julian. Osypa will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and friends. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (East of Keele) on Saturday and Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Panachyda 7:30 p.m. both evenings. Funeral Services will begin at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. proceeding to St. Josaphat's Ukrainain Catholic Cathedral (143 Franklin Ave.) for Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville.
