It is with very heavy hearts that we greet the passing of our dear friend Peta. She was an inspiration with her wonderful smile, sense of humor and kindness. She touched us in many ways over the years, but certainly more recently with her courage, grace and strength as she faced her illness. We send our most heartfelt sadness to you Joao, Michelle, Filipe, and Luis and all her sisters and family members. May you all find the same strength that Peta had for the days ahead. She will be very missed, but it is hard to think of her and not smile for she filled our hearts. All our love the Machados and Putmans
