Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on April 13, 2020, of Stefania Pawulski. She was 97 years old.
Stefania was born on January 6th, 1923 in Poland. After World War II, she immigrated from Germany to England in 1945 and in the 1950s she immigrated to Toronto, Canada where she met her husband, and love of her life, Stanislaw Pawulski.
Stefania was many things to many people – a wife, daughter, sister, friend, neighbour and auntie to many of us. She was an incredible source of strength – a fighter who fought through life. She was caring, had a great sense of humour and was someone who touched everyone she met. Even as her health declined in the last year, she maintained her positive spirit, laughter and was grateful for the daily visits from her family.
The Miller and Olejarczyk family are extremely grateful for the outpouring of support they have received during this very difficult time. They would like to thank everyone at White Eagle home for taking care of her.
She will be greatly missed.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no viewing. The service at the funeral home will be a closed family event. The graveside service and burial at the Sanctuary Park Cemetery in Toronto will also be a closed family event. There will be a memorial at a later date when it is safe to do so.
The family kindly asks that in lieu of sending flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family also welcomes messages in the Memorial Book found at the top right hand corner of this page.
Thank you!
