Passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughter and son in law on Sunday, February 14th, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Teresa, beloved wife of Jose for 57 years. Loving mother of Susie Daponte and her husband Victor. Grandmother of Jordan Daponte and Tristan Daponte. She will be dearly missed by her brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be known for the beautiful items she has made with her hands that she has gifted with love. Teresa will always be remembered by her joy that she has brought to others, her recipes and her love of the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to St. Joseph’s Health Centre. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and chaplains at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their loving care.Visitation

Dear Joseph, Susie and Victor,
Our deepest condolences to you on Teresa's passing. She was a delightful neighbour, who would always greet us with a big smile and a wave. She was so proud of her grandsons and shared stories with us about their accomplishments and her love for them. She was also so proud of her family in California and in Portugal. We will greatly miss our porch-front visits with her.
