I am so sorry for your loss. My sister Madeline worked with Vera and spoke so very dearly of her. I will keep Vera and her family in my prayers.

Vera's reputation long proceeded her. I often heard from my colleagues of her kindness and generosity long before I had the priviledge of meeting her. When I was assigned to teach at the Lakeshore Campus and finally met Vera, the words of my colleagues were not exaggerated. I am sorry I did not get to work with Vera longer and get to know her better, for it is a rare person in life that can exude such love and grace.

Please accept my sincerest condolences. Vera was such a lovely person and such a light to see at the office at Humber Lakeshore. She will be dearly missed. She always had a kind word and time to chat no matter how busy she was. When she heard I was pregnant with my first child, she was so delighted for me. I will miss her very much and I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sad to lose my dear Vera. She was not only my right and left hand support at Humber College from 1985-1995, but she was a dear friend and confidant. She was a beloved spirit and I will miss her terribly.

Vera and I worked as a team at Humber Lakeshore for many years. Her smile brightened all those days and her judgment helped to make them happy ones as well. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

I was honored to call Vera a friend after we met through Humber College almost 15 years ago. I always remember her helping students and calling us in the Registrar's Office to try to see if she could figure out the problem before sending to the next person. She was so proud of her family and they were her first concern when she was ill. I hope that her family has so many good memories to reflect upon to help them though this trying time. She was a wonderful person and we will miss her dearly in the Humber community!

My deepest condolences to Vera's immediate and extended family. Vera is a dear heart who fought bravely and determinedly throughout her illness. We in the Humber Community also mourn her loss and will miss her deeply. I will always remember her constant kindness and gentleness and now add to that the strength, courage and grace she has shown us over the past year. I have known you since grade 5 and although lately we met up only every few years for a coffee we could always pick up where we left off. You were always a great friend who always made me laugh. I look back on all the good times(concerts, parties, even bad haircuts). I honestly don't remember any bad times.My deepest condolences to your family.You will be missed but will be forever in our hearts.God Bless.

Vera - A very special lady who will be greatly missed especially at Humber's Lakeshore Campus. She was a kind, loving lady and colleague. I was shocked and saddened recently to hear about her illness and now her death; she will be deeply missed by the LAS staff of Humber College,her family and all of her friends. Rest In Peace dear Vera and my sincere condolences to her family, especially her children. God Bless them.

She was the first person I met when I started at Humber, and she was always so warm, friendly and generous - an absolute kind soul. Even though I've switched campuses, I will miss her, as will many of us at the College. My deepest condolences to the entire family, and I wish her spirit everlasting peace.
