Prima Conceição, I am deeply sorry and express my condolences on the tragic and unexpected loss of Barbara. I can only imagine the loss you feel and a void that will be felt by all who knew her. Barbara was a shining light and a vibrant spirit with an infectious sense of humour. Her brightness and ability to bring laughter into others' lives made her truly special. I’m sure she touched so many hearts with her warmth and wit, leaving behind cherished memories that will be forever treasured. I will always remember our family visits to your cottage on Wasaga Beach and to your home in Toronto. May she rest in peace with her sister and father and I also wish you strength and peace.

My fellow lover of books, the Friday evenings, the walks with Ruger, the TTC stories so many memories. Your courage and strength was beyond measure the day undying love you had for your parents was inspiring.
We will hold you in our hearts forever, I will miss you, my heart hurts.
