Dearest Friends, My friend Liana Bowdler in San Diego, just sent me notice that her aunt, Helen Elizabeth Bowdler had passed on this year. Liana asked if I could let Flora know, should she still be living. Flora and Helen had been good friends, as Helen grew up in Toronto and moved to La Jolla in the 60s. Those two gals must be up to something in the afterlife, as Helen died January 15, the day after Flora. Two wonderful women who lived long and spread kindness around them.

I have great memories of Flora, a lovely and caring aunt to all of us. We had great times visiting her in Toronto when we were young. And, we spent happy summer days together at the cottage.
