Luisete Melrinho, born May 24, 1945 in Nazaré, Portugal, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026 in Toronto, Canada, at the age of 81. She was the beloved daughter of Antonio Melrinho and Elvira Estrelinha Melrinho, and a cherished sibling to Palmira, José Antonio and Nazaré. Loving Aunt of Lolli, Celia and Sandra, and a dear Great Aunt of Kyle, Rebecca, Bradley, Jonas, Tyler and Milo.

Throughout her life Luisete was known for her kind‑hearted generosity and deep devotion to family. Her gentle spirit shone brightly in the simple joys she shared, especially her love of poetry, where she found both expression and solace.

Luisete’s memory will be treasured by all who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to echo in the hearts of her family. May those who mourn find peace, trusting that her soul rests in the everlasting care of the One who holds us all.

A private service will be held by her family in Toronto at Cardinal Funeral Home, honoring a life lived with humility and love. May her journey onward be blessed with everlasting peace.
