Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosa Barahona. Rosa passed away on Wednesday, April 6th 2022 at the age of 40 in Toronto, Ontario, surrounded by her family at Humber River Hospital.
Rosa was the Loving daughter of Manuel and Margarita Barahona and big sister to Evelyn Cando Barahona. She will be greatly missed by her Brother-in-law Bryan Cando and her nieces Thalia And Sierra Cando Barahona. She was a grand-daughter, niece, aunt and cousin.
Rosa was a beautiful soul. She was generous forgiving and joyful. She loved to make people laugh. Rosa loved volunteering in her community, she volunteered for countless organizations, events and loved to work in multiple elections.
She loved listening to music, dance, sing and make arts and crafts. She also loved to shop. She loved being around people and being the centre of attention. She was social and very well known.
She touched the lives of so many and was truly special. Rosa had a special gift and despite of her limitations she had the gift to touch people in such a positive way with her innocence, her happiness and the way she cared for others, regardless of how they even treated her. She truly left a lasting mark on this earth.
Rosa will be missed by all of us especially to those who loved her.
