My deep condolences to the extended family and friends of Aunty Sybil. She was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met. And when I would visit Toronto with my mom Jean and siblings she would always prepare my favorite oatmeal on a cold winters day. She always had a servant's heart who helped many young people in the Juvenille system and her heart was as big as you can get. Her effortless service to help the community was an example for me to mentor young troubled men and also disciple ex-drug addicts in a program as a resident manager. The love I received from my aunties and mom has made me the God fearing man I am today. I remember the warm comforting times with Aunty Sybil and Uncle Ali and of course Uncle Ali always had me smiling with his great sense of humor. May the good Lord meet every need of the family and friends connected to this great lady and may she continue to be honored for years to come. Always plenty of love from little Justin and the Crooks family. You all will always be in my thoughts in my quiet moments. May you all be comforted with a peace that passes all understanding, continual blessings and favor to those near and far.....

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the great fortune to work with Sybil at Midland. She was a wonderful, gentle and kind woman with the greatest smile and warmest laugh. The kids and the staff all loved Sybil. She talked about her family all of the time and was so proud of her children. I’m sorry I can’t attend the service as I’m out of the country but I will be there in spirit. All the very best to her friends and family.
