Pedro, a week today at this time we said our last goodbye to you, but in our hearts you are always with us and forever will be, your son's are so very proud and honoured to have had the chance to have you for a father as am I blessed to have had you in my life. I promise to always honour you and the man that you always were.

On my short stay in Canada, you were one of the few that after all these years I still remember.
When we first met you were Warrant Rosa. When you realize I was Portuguese, you cracked the pork-and-cheese joke.
As a soldier, you were an inspiration.

Our sincerest of condolences to the Rosa Family, and all of the family and friends who supported him in all of his battles. We first met him as a young boy, who accompanied his father to our home. We can still recall his sense of humour, even as a young boy. Although we had not seen or spoken with him recently, we had heard that he had grown into a fine young man, and know he will be very missed by all. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May you find the strenght to accept that he is where he now needs to be, and is no longer suffering.

My sincerest condolences go out to the family of Pedro. I served with him in the 7th Toronto Regiment. He was a man of great integrity and will be missed very much.

My sincerest condolences to you at your time of loss. Pedro was an excellent soldier and a fine man. I served with him for seven years, and he was always steadfast in care for his soldiers and those around him. He was larger than life to those who knew him and he will be sorely missed in the Toronto Garrison by his colleagues. Stand easy RSM.

Uncle Pedro:
I still remember last saw you at Tim Hortons in Petawawa. It was totally unexpected. We talked like we had only seen each other yesterday. You asked me why I wanted to become a Vehicle Tech, and teased me that there were better trades out there.
I still remember you teasing the gunners that you were going to be the first non-gunner RSM, and you did it. We never went without on the gunline, because you went above and beyond your duty. You will be sadly missed.

I had the pleasure to work with Peter for many years, first with the 48th Highlanders then with 7 Toronto RCA. Many great conversations about the military as well as kids in hockey and the fun that brought over beer and pizza in the Mess. My condolences to the Rosa family at this difficult time. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember.

I am very saddened to hear of Pedro’s passing and my deepest condolences to his family. I worked with Pete for many years at 7th Tor Regt, RCA and will always remember his terrific personality, unselfishness and absolute willingness to help. Also the many fine suppers at the “chicken” joint.RIP.Ubique.

Family, I was sadden to hear about Pedro's passing, although I did not know Pedro for a long time, the times we were togther were special. I always enjoyed talking to and listening to him.

Peter you will be forever in our hearts, your strength, courage and determination will never be forgotten. You have inspired us all through your love and will to live. We are forever grateful that you were a very special part of our lives and very blessed to have you as Zachary’s Godfather. You were always a wonderful father to your two beautiful son’s Nicholas and Noah. We will miss you very much but it is comforting to know that your suffering is finally over, may you rest in peace. Peter (aka Pedro) was a wonderful young man who loved his two sons very much and could never do enough for them. As long as I have known Peter, he had a great sense of humour and was always full of ambition and very dedicated with anything and everything he set out to accomplish. I met Peter many moons ago through my brother-in-law Moses Resendes who was then dating my sister Connie....he was then and up until the end a super, super guy. He was very well respected and will be sorely missed by many. May he rest in peace for eternity and may all the angels surround him. God bless.
